What Is Cádiz?
Cádiz Restaurante, in the heart of San José del Cabo, brings together Spanish culinary tradition with the flavors and local products of Mexico, paired with a cocktail and spirits program with a character all its own. Our mezcals, tequilas and other spirits are part of an experience built to surprise you from the very first moment.
More than a fusion of two cultures, it's the meeting of Spanish character and Mexican magic. A combination that brings to life a unique experience and a space like no other in Los Cabos. In the end, that's exactly where Cádiz comes from: bringing a little piece of our homeland all the way to Los Cabos. Because we may not be in Spain, but we're from there.

The Love Story You May Not Know...
Cádiz was born from a shared dream.
We are Kiko and Arantxa, Mexico and Spain united by love, by cooking, and by the desire to share our way of enjoying life around a table.
That's why we decided to create a place where arriving would feel like walking into our own living room — with our customs, our flavors, our long after-dinner conversations, and our very own way of welcoming people.
Because Cádiz wasn't born just to serve good food. It was born to share a piece of our story with every person who sits down at our table.
And like in any good home, everyone is welcome here: those who come for a drink and end up staying for dinner, those celebrating a birthday, those gathering the whole family, those looking for a table for two, those on vacation, those who come every week… and even those who decide to get married here.
Whatever brings you to Cádiz, we want you to feel at home the moment you walk in.
Lots of love!
Kiko's Favorites
In every home, there are dishes that come back again and again. In ours, Kiko is the one who picks them: a selection that, for him, explains the essence of Cádiz better than anything else. You'll find them marked with his mustache on the menu. If it's your first time, start there.
And an important detail: Kiko is gluten-free, so at Cádiz we know exactly how important it is to have options for everyone.

Golden outside, creamy inside, and packed with Ibérico ham flavor. A classic that never fails.

A fresh garden salad with watermelon and an orange-ginger vinaigrette.

Giant shrimp, squid and a touch of alioli. One of our essential paellas.

Shrimp, clam, mussel, crab and squid. Pure flavor of the sea.

Smoked snook, mole chintextle, avocado tartare, tomato, crispy plantain and guava vinaigrette. Mexico and Cádiz in a single bite.

Mussels in a creamy white wine sauce, served with french fries.

Slow-cooked for four days until incredibly tender, with glazed baby onions and vegetables.

Roasted for two days, served with sautéed apples and a sauce made from its own juices.

Our take on one of Spain's great classics: creamy, intense, and made for sharing… if you want to.
This place is a gem. Every dish is spectacular. The octopus… the best I've ever had, tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned. The patio with that giant tree gives it a magic all its own.

Beautiful space, attentive service and food as good as what we had in Spain. We shared the Valencian paella with two tapas, wine and crème brûlée.

What a gem of a place. We went for dinner and loved everything. The place is gorgeous, and the A/C area is really well thought out.
